Odd Squad, a live-action math series geared toward children ages 5 to 8, is the latest addition to PBS’s slate of math-based kids’ programming. Christyn moved to Washington, DC in 2010 from western New York to pursue a degree in journalism and Spanish language at American University. She has completed courses in reporting, digital skills, journalism ethics and journalism law. During her undergraduate career, Christyn interned for Washington Post Express, USA TODAY College and Current as an editorial intern; The Salamanca Press (Salamanca, NY) as a student correspondent and copy editor; and at the Newseum as an intern social media coordinator and Web writer.
